Language

Follow Android's system language or apply a supported language only within Elder Dialler.

Language is an Advanced feature using Android's app-locale mechanism.

  1. Open Preferences in Normal Mode.
  2. Choose System or a named language. Supported named choices are English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, Italian, Greek and Croatian.
  3. Review the main, Contacts, history, dialogs and active-call screens. Contact sorting, call-history headings, status descriptions, percentages and number presentation follow the effective app locale.
  4. Check the actual phone user can understand and reach each action. Large and Huge app fonts can change the available layout space.

Validation boundary: supported translations and visual checks do not amount to native-speaker certification. Report unclear or clipped wording through Support.
