Auto SOS

Configure automatic continuation through the ordered SOS contact list.

Auto SOS is an Advanced feature. It builds on the ordinary SOS sequence by using a selected timeout to end the current SOS call and continue or cycle through configured personal contacts until the sequence is stopped.

  1. Configure consenting SOS contacts first. Put trusted personal contacts in the intended calling order.
  2. Choose Auto SOS in Preferences or Guided Setup.
  3. Select Disabled, 10, 15, 20, 30 or 45 seconds. Disabled keeps manual continuation.
  4. Review loudspeaker behaviour. Auto SOS can force loudspeaker so the phone user can communicate without lifting the phone.
  5. Start SOS deliberately. A normal tap explains that a long press is required. Missing contacts are skipped.
  6. Use STOP to end the sequence. Otherwise Auto SOS can continue or cycle through the ordered list.

Safety boundary: SOS and Auto SOS make ordinary telephone calls to personal contacts. They do not contact an emergency monitoring service and cannot guarantee connection, answer or help.
